The flame thaT STARTED DAVID'S DELICIOUS DELIGHTS
Born in Tampa, Florida, Carlos “David” Wharton has always had a love for baking. David served in the Navy for 6 years and later he earned an Associate’s Degree from Tampa Technical Institute in Computer Engineering. In 2014, David’s wife Stacey obtained employment at Susquehanna University. As a trailing spouse seeking to forge a path for himself, he re-engaged with a lost love, baking.

David’s love for baking was formed by many families/ occupational experiences. One of his beloved aunts owned a 24-hour diner and later a sweet potato pie company, the first in the country. As he laid claim to the Wharton test kitchen, his former passion quickly blossomed into a full-blown business known David’s Delicious Delights, which was by popular demand from many of David’s family and friends. From beautiful cakes to unique cookies to artisan bread, David’s Delicious Delights is a full-service bakery that incorporates David’s Southern Roots into his recipes. Currently, David’s Delicious Delights is a featured vendor in the Selinsgrove’s Farmers' Market, and the delights are featured in several businesses and eateries in the Selinsgrove area.

Shake And bake!
David is running a flourishing baking business. He sells at the local farmers market through hand delivery and ships across the country. David takes great pride in providing his customers with something that he knows they will love and is made with love. He has great joy every time he hand makes a dessert knowing it will brighten someone's day. David's delights never skimp out on any ingredients and are always made fresh!
